I love the light tech. Thanks Jared! What are the umbrellas made out of to reflect the light so well?
Just got our new umbrellas (we make ‘em ourselves). This latest material gets 5.6+1/3 at 1000 fps at 8’ out at ISO800 burning a 2.5K HMI. Holy crap that’s bright for indirect light.
Yo Dan! Hope all’s well at your new digs. The new skin is silver alloy impregnated heat-resistant cloth. Which is to say that molten silver alloy is applied to a fabric with a temperature rating of 1,500F, it’s also part of why the 6-footers have a cost around $15,000 each. When you’re burning 10,000 watt bulbs within a foot of the material for 16 hours straight it needs to stand up.
