whelp, i’ve never designed a website but i figure it’s time i utilize one of the 20-something urls i own and make myself a fancy one.

this is what i’ve come up with after spending a few hours goofing around in photoshop express 4.0 (i usually use ms paint, but making drop shadows with that is a BITCH). now, i know that there’s hella flaws in this mockup (spacings, font, gradient, etc.), but it’s late and i just wanted to get something solid down on paper so i know what i’m going for before i start a crash course in html and css (autodidacticism is the way of the walk in my house).

sidenote: two of the images i used were not taken by me but i worked on the films they’re from (they’re behind-the-scenes production photos, not screengrabs), so i’m hoping they give me permission to use cropped versions.

so let me know if this looks “fucking impossible” or “like utter shit” or “like a holdover from 2001” from a web designer standpoint. and i honestly don’t give a rat’s ass about making it ie compliant, everybody in film uses macs.
