someone on tumblr mentioned a tool video the other day.

it reminded me that i should post this seminal stop-animation work done in 1986 by the brothers quay, it’s titled “street of crocodiles” (21 minutes) and it was a direct influence on tool’s direction in their stop-animated projects. see also: joel-peter witkin’s influence on NIИ videos (nsfw) and metallica videos.
