A Modest Proposal - Tumblr Burgr Meetup

Ok, I’m gonna admit it, I’ve never had Shake Shack. Yeah, I know, sue me. I promise to have it in the next few weeks. I’ve also never been to Corner Bistro or had a Burger at Luger’s.
I have had: Lucky Burger, Brgr, White Horse, Burgers and Cupcakes, Five Guys, Jackson Hole, Chelsea Grill, Island Burger (the chicken is way better), 123 Burger Shot Beer Sliders, Route 66 Cafe, and my personal favorite, Burger Joint.
I’m proposing we get a group together, create a consensus on the top 5-7 places to try throughout the five boroughs, and ultimately decide who has the best burger in NYC. This should take an entire day, especially if there’s some travel involved; but that’s probably better for our digestion.
Sure I know this has been done before, but not by me, not by us. So really, it doesn’t count. As we speak, Soup is surveying the unwashed masses (Met fans) to see what they think. Maybe we use those results as a jumping off point - or maybe we strike out on our own.
Now the real question: Who’s with me?
if you’re including all 5 boroughs, i definitely recommend the burgers at sparrow in astoria - pretty top notch.
oh stfu, queens. you have one place that’s good for ribs in l.i.c. and maybe some souvlaki hidden here or there but THAT’S IT AND YOU KNOW IT!
please don’t mention the “beer garden”. water taxi bar beat it out three years ago and now you got nuttin’, pardner :(
