Palestinian loss of land: 1946 to 2000
(via unburyingthelead:vruz:clothedinsky:nociva)
no, it is not bullshit. your 1947 map is almost exactly the same as the green map of 1947.
Where it reads “loss of land” you should interpret it as “loss of land” by means of war  or any other methods.
it’s simple, loss = loss
the palestinians controlled a certain portion of land, and they don’t control it anymore, there’s no moral judgement in that sentence,  that’s only in your imagination.
Whether you believe war is a justifiable method and whether the jewish people have a legal right to do whatever you believe doesn’t have anything to do with the facts.  the facts is that the maps are accurate and that the loss of land occured.
You seem to be projecting things that are not in this very simple and accurate 1947 map that is almost exactly like the map you posted.
Besides I can post whatever I want to post,  you have the right not to reblog,  it’s not propaganda, we are commenting on information we get from as many sources as we can.
There’s no agenda, there’s no propaganda, there’s no particular view I intend to divulge.
I have no ties neither to Palestina nor Israel, I’m perfectly unbiased on this issue.
In closing,  I beg you to please cease your intents to censor what others publish,  an activity you do in the name of accuracy and truth, when it’s only just another subjective view just like the one most of us have.
It’s a serious problem, not talking about it won’t make it go away.
Correct and discuss, but never censor.

as someone who is part native american (my mother is mexican and yaquii), i’ll say that this has happened here, too.
israelites consider palistinians to be barbarians and savages. and when one of the savages throws a stone or launches a worthless missle, they retaliate by killing off the native’s “buffalo” (water/health/food) and indiscriminate bombings (see also: smallpox laden blankets).
Remove the chiefs. Deny their voices and decry their pleas as the violent rant of a savage people; for the land is our birthrite and no others’. By the mouth of god it is the Promised Land foretold and He placed it there to await our arrival.
much of what goes on over there should be seen as an affront to kindness and the capabilities of human generosity. yet it is nothing compared to the liminal situations ocurring elsewhere.
Your ideas are terrifying and your hearts are faint. Your acts of pity and cruelty are absurd, committed with no calm, as if they were irresistible. Finally, you fear blood more and more. Blood and time.
