so i’ve taken to microfine doodling with a c-6 nib. this here c-6 can be as fine or finer than a micron .005, to almost as wide as a faber-castell pitt 199 brushtip. it’s perfect for the cross-hatch/stipple shading technique i like so much.
weirdly, i prefer to use pen & ink on dry-media roughtooth. perhaps i’ll go out and buy a couple sheets of arches coldpress or rough to work on.
and my birthday is coming up, if anyone wants to get me some real vellum…
