How bout a little chart on the angle of repose of various materials?

Myself being a Geoscience major, ahmdmm and I probably find this more interesting than your average ilovecharts follower. Sorry.

angles of repose are rather fascinating. additionally, there’s a formula used to deduce the volume or weight of a material present in a pile, so it’s kind of important to know the angle of repose for materials like hard coal (24°) or soft coal (30°) or asphalt (45°) or whatever.

A cold night of 15 degree weather and heavy fog created this growth of hoar frost. Slight air movement from the north caused it to form heavily on the south side of trees, shrubs and weeds, with hardly any on the north sides of the same. It lasted about 36 hours before melting away.

so, i usually enjoy my scotch on the rocks or with a little splash of water. the problem with ice, though, is that by the time you’re close to done, the drink is far too watery to even taste. no longer! i ordered these soapstone drink cubes and now i can splash exactly as much water as i want (about 1/2 tsp per 2 oz scotch) and the drink will remain cool and consistent from the first sip to the last.

sidenote: if you or anyone you know has busted down film gear, let me know. i can fix pretty much everything you can find on a set (dollys, sticks, tungsten, hmi, kino flo, grip equipment, distro, you get the picture). it’s fun and money for me and beneficial for your business!
